Study With Friends Certification Training
"Just letting you know I passed the Product Owner exam as well. Much easier than the Scrum Master for whatever reason! Thanks," - Sam R.
I spent my summer rediscovering Scrum. Studying alone, and with friends, the Scrum Guide. This required ignoring a lot well meaning advice. People saying I should really study something else, something better, always something bigger (patterns, scaling frameworks, giant books on Scrum, on and on).
Instead, I focused on Scrum, the very short Scrum Guide. Inside, I discovered a universe.
Spend a few hours in deep meditation and open conversation about Scrum. Study what the Scrum Guide says and be amazed at what it doesn't say.
This workshop is a simple, powerful way to learn enough to pass multiple certification exams, all without spending thousands of dollars or multiple days on training.

Who Should Attend
People who are already Scrum Master but never seriously studied JUST the Scrum Guide.
People wanting to become qualified Scrum Masters, Scrum Product Owners, Scrum Team Members, or Agile Leaders. This includes project managers, user experience designers, product owners, quality analysts, and managers seeking a better understanding of Agile all benefit from this class.
Anyone passionate about working smarter and being happier while actually getting more done is welcome!
Why Scrum Team Members Should Attend
Implementing Scrum can change how you spend one to two thousand hours a year working. It is well worth 8-hours of your time discovering what the Scrum Guide actually says about how you work.
1. Learn enough to accurately represent Scrum
Unfortunately, agile coaches and scrum masters frequently get the fundamentals wrong. We are all only human. So help them! Learn enough to help your team. We guarantee it is worth your time.
2. Study the Scrum Guide
The Scrum Guide is only 13-pages long. Study it. As short as this guide is many teams make major mistakes trying to apply it. These mistakes may severely limit your ability to be more fulfilled while getting more work done. Learn what the Scrum Guide actually says, you may even like it. And if not, you can have an informed discussion on what you do not like.
3. Earn a few Scrum Certifications (the cheap way)
Earn at least two respected certifications yourself. It grounds you in the materials and helps you be the authority over how you work as a team. But do this without taking lots of ridiculously priced and long training.
Being able to say “I'm also a Scrum Master. Page 8 of the 2020 Scrum guide says….” which gives you some real authority and creates much better conversations about Scrum. What does page 8 really say?
